ENERGISING, FOCUSSING & LOADS OF FUN!
For grown-ups of all ages. For those new to drumming, for rusty returners, and seasoned players too.
We include bells, shakers and other small percussion instruments, as well as voices, for a rounded experience of West African style music-making, weaving rhythm patterns together to create some magic!
No djembe? No problem! DJEMBE HIRE for the sessions is currently free of charge. Pre-booking is required.
NEW DRUMMERS are always made very welcome, and will soon be in the groove!
Join at the beginning of ANY season in Burnham throughout the year as we begin at the beginning of a set of rhythm patterns, and cover the basics to bring new drummers on board!
Please get in touch with Suzanne for more information and to register. (Sorry, no drop-ins.)

What do you need to bring? A bright smile and a bagful of good vibes! A drink may also be a good idea (the kitchen will not be available), and of course your drum - unless you have booked to hire one. Dress to keep warm enough in colder weather.
All dates are fully intended but obviously depend on favourable circumstances and a sufficient number of drummers. If a session needs to be cancelled, you will be notified by email.
Dates ahead for all sessions, circles and events can be found on the QUICK CALENDAR page

The main focus is on enjoyment, (definitely no pressure!), building skills and confidence while having fun in a relaxed environment.
Regular drummers will develop their sense of rhythm and timing, as well as dexterity, co-ordination, stamina and focus, and will acquire some 'go to' familiar beats to play with confidence as the season progresses. |
